†aCoLyTe†
Why choose and acoyle??
The Acolyte is the underdog of Rune Midgard(RO world). All parties love Acolytes. Acolytes/Priest's have a lot of
support spells that the party may find useful. Not only are they good party mates, there decent at soloing Choose the
Acolyte of you have a good party and like to beat up on zombies!
And you easily get money by putting a MP(Magnificat Party) party for 4/3/2/5K!!! either choose how much zeny you
want, then in a day you'll get 100k in not less then two days!! See it's fast!!!
How/where to change job.
to change job to an acolyte first go to prontera then go upper right until you see a church but if you're
a bit confused on where it is there's always a Guard in the City I think you can see it near Kafra's and the Warp
Point's. OK know how to change jobs after going inside the prontera church don't go wandering around yet first
to right then go upper right then you'll see a priest then talk to him until you're finished talking now go to the
priest where he assigned to go to . Know here are some guidelines to know where they are:
reminder do not kill your self cause you are saved in that place
Father Yosuke
First go to Geffen then go east then go east again (2nd east screen) until you find something like a bridge but it's
not in Mt.Myjonir, go to the bridge until you see an NPC then talk to him.
Mother Matilda
Go to morroc the go on the north warp point then go to the Farthest Northwest then you'll see her.
FatherRubalkubara
Go in prontera then go up until your in a forest then go east but be careful 'cause there's mandragora's there then just
keep putting /where you're going to see if it's YOYO forest or if it's St. Capitolina Abbey(where to change job to a monk).
After that go back to the NPC in the Prontera Church that you talked to when you wanted to become an Acolyte...... When
Vwuala!!!! You're now and Acolyte!!! And now you can rome around the Church!!

Think your tough enough to be a thief? Well, here you can find out just that. Thieves are some of the fastest
hitting people in RO. They also evade attacks from their current enemies. High level thieves will dish out
large amount of damage in a short time without getting hit. The thief is also very versatile, able to use swords,
daggers, and bows.
Go to morroc, then go upper left then go upper left until you see people and a kafra then go inside the pyramid after
going inside go in the middle then in your map looks like a cross, then go left until you see a male and a female NPC. After
talking to them go oustide the pyramid then go to the pond like place that you see in your map then go a little bit right
of it then you'll see an NPC then he'll warp you to a FARM. (

I've heard many people often state, quite bluntly, that using a Merchant as your initial class is a bad idea, as Merchants require
a hefty load of money to begin with. This is nonsense. Merchants make ideal starting characters, they just need the right
strategy, and a little bit of luck.
Go to alberta then go lower right until you see a warp point go inside then talk to the NPC then pay the given amount
and remenber the serial code. Then go lower and talk to an NPC then he'll give you a small box and a letter then go to the
designated place he asked you then talk to the NPC he asked you to talk then you'll recieve a Letter or a Voucher or a Reciept
telling that you gave the small box to the NPC then to back to the Merchant Guild and Vwuala your a Merchant!!!

↓Archer ↓
The Archer class, as every other class, has it's own pros and cons. However, for an Archer
there seems to be more pros then cons.
PROS: *Long range attack. You can kill enemies before they get to you. *Very
high attack and attack speed/dodge (DEX and AGI). *You can control the very powerful sub-character "Falcon". *Ankle
Snare :) (Hunter). *Very powerful PvP class. *Very easy to level up. *Many builds to chose from. *You don't need
to worry about sacraficing stat points to get DEX. *Good MVP character (if built right). *Large assets in WoE (guild
wars)
CONS: *Arrows and traps cost money. Although it isn't much, Archer is probably one of the poorer classes.
You can still make allot of zenny of course. *Low HP and defense. Don't expect to be a tank. Even with flee, monsters always
have a 5% chance of hitting you. *Novice is difficult. But if you find yourself a nice tank its fine. *Low skill choice
as an Archer, and most of the Hunter's traps and useless after Comodo, which I believe every RO version now has.
Archers
tend to be very easy to level up because they can snipe. This means you will be able to kill things far beyond what someone
at your level should be able to. Also, 2 of your few skills as an archer boost 2 of your vital stats, RANGE and DEX.
Overall, Archer is a pretty easy class. It is pretty hard when you are low leveled so it's a good idea to find yourself
a nice tank until about level 20 (unless you snipe).
While Archers tend to be mediocre, Hunter is a VERY powerful class
and if built right can be nearly unstoppable in PvP (player versus player). They specialize in traps that cause damage
or negative effects to a mob such as freeze trap or sandman which causes sleep. Some traps such as Ankle Snare allow
you to snipe without actually sniping. For more skill info skip ahead to the Archer and Hunter skills section.
Go to payon then go upper right going to archer village
(map of archer village)
then go to the A in the map then talk to the NPC in the Front Desk then ask you to collect trunks any kind of trunk (you
can get it in Willows) go collect any kind of trunks.
Get Fine-Gained Trunk, Trunk, Barren Trunk, Solid Trunk
Here are the Kind of trunks you need to get and how many points they are:
Archer Quest |
Barren Trunk - 1 Point Solid Trunk - 3 Points Fine-grained Trunk - 5 Points |
What to do |
Collect the 3 kinds of trunk to get 25 points, then take them to the Archer Guildsman in the Payon Archer Village |
Where to find them |
Dropped by Willow, map south of Payon Town. |
(also include the Ordinary Trunk "Trunk" )

§ Mage/Magician §
A mage should probably specialize. You only have 50 Job Levels to work with, and that's not as many as you might think.
Mages have more skills than any other class in the game, and so they need skill points (gained by raising your Job Level)
a whole lot more than any other class. Add in the fact that you have to raise the weaker skills at least some before you
get the stronger ones and you begin to realize how important it is to get a few strong skills than a lot of weak ones.
Go
to Geffen
Go to the to the place where's the M then talk to the NPC near the Blackboard. Then go to the Bookshelf until you see
something that you can read then it'll say the items that you need and here are the list that you might get:
Mage Quest |
Empty Test Tube Empty Potion Bottle |
What to do |
Go to the Mage Guild in Geffen and talk to the female NPC. She will give you a vial, a recipe number and a serial number(be
sure to remember or write down this number). Check the bookshelf for the list of ingredients. Get the ingredients and mix
them in the Mixing Machine then give the solution to the NPC. There are 4 different potions |
Ingredients |
1. 2 Jellopy, 3 Fluff, 1 Milk, Payon Solution ~ (8472) 2. 3 Jellopy, 1 Fluff, 1 Milk ~ (3735) 3. 6 Jellopy,
1 Fluff, Payon Solution ~ (2750) 4. 2 Jellopy, 3 Fluff, Morroc Solution ~ (5429) |
Then go talk to the NPC near the blackboard and vwuala your a mage now!!!!
STILL HAVE A PROBLEM??? THEN E-MAIL ME AND I'll show my best descriptions OK Î
SORRY IF SOME LEVELING GUIDES REACH UP TO 53-99 AND IT'S ONLY UP TO 1ST JOBS SO PLEASE BARE WTH IT.
1ST JOBS
GOOD PLACES TO LEVEL :
SWORDSMAN:
Levels 1-10: Any area that has porings, fabres, lunatics, pickies, or rodas. Until you reach your first class, you
won't be able to kill much else. If this isn't your first character, and you have a bunch of zenny, go ahead and buy
a bunch of fruit healing items and level up on rockers, as long as you have a blade, and your level 4-5, this should be
the fastest way to level, if you have the money for massive fruits.
Levels 11-20: If you go one screen south and
one screen west of prontera, you will be in rocker hill. This is a good place to level up on, just kill rockers.
Levels 21-30: You can level up in several places. Biblian Island Dungeon level 1 would be a pretty good place
to level up, just stay away from the jellyfish like creatures. You can also try southeast of morroc, in the ants area.
Or maybe go to other desert areas and kill pecopecos, boas, and wolves.
Levels 31-40: You can now chose
several places to level. You can try smokie forest, biblian level 2, horns, orc village (just avoid the orc hero,
or you will be sorry).
Levels 41-50: Biblian 2 will start to be really good here, it have great loot, enemies
there aren't too strong, or aggressive, and they give good experience. You can also try orc village some more, or bigfoots,
if you have enough agi you should dodge bigfoots a LOT, but it really isn't recommended for VIT swordsman, since you
will still get hit often and for high damage. For later levels, I would recommend switching to goblin village. And
that is probably where you should stay the rest of your swordy days, unless you are pure vit, you can try drainliars in
coal mines level 1.
Levels 51-60: Keep leveling where you were in the 41-50s. Biblian 2 is still a pretty good
place to level, but there are also faster places you can level...however, along with that, they are a lot more expensive. Personally
I'd say you should level in goblin village, cause it gives good exp until your a knight, better exp than Biblian dungeon
level 2. Once you reach a knight, continue leveling there until job level 20 or so, and then you can go into dungeons
and start killing things in there (such as payon 3, sphynx, pyramids 2, any of the middle level dungeons)
Levels
61-70: I'd recommend Sphinx level 3 if you have a priest with you, and maybe even if you don't have a priest with you.
It's really good exp, especially during these levels, you should be getting a ton per requiem. If not, try payon 3/4,
mids 2, maybe coal mines or biba 4 (if you have really good def).
Levels 70+: I would highly recommend sphinx level
3 after you hit level 70. Sphinx 3 monsters give great exp, especially requiems, and they aren't even very strong!
Plus, there are also several different rares that you can get there. Celebrant's Mitten, Wand of Occult, Old Blue Box, Matyr
Leash, Heaven Ring, and two of the best cards are in there, Matyr Card, and Whisper Card. So not only is it a good money
maker, but great exp. When you get high enough you can go to glast heim and fight some of the lower agi monsters if
you aren't a crit/dex build, and that's probably where you'll want to level until 99.

MAGE:
Okay, so you've chosen what spells you're going to get. Next you need to level up to get the spells. For your first
few Job Levels as a Mage, keep on killing Porings; you can get to Job Level 5 (to get the LV 4 Bolt) by just doing this outside
of Geffen in probably under an hour. So where do you level up? This depends on what Bolt you got. But before you do anythign
else, buy a Rod or Wand (the two weakest Mage weapons); the Rod gives you +15% Magic ATK (MATK), and the Wand gives
the +15% MATK and +1 INT (which is worth the extra fee). If you chose Lightning Bolt them make sure that you have at least
150z left over.
If you chose Lightning Bolt then you want to level up in Bibalan caves. To get to Bibalan you
must first get to Izlude. Izlude is one screen south and one east of Prontera. There go to the docks (in the northeastern
corner of town) and pay the fee to go to Bibalan. Be sure to save here; you don't want to have to pay the boat fee every
time you die. It'll take a while to find the cave entrance, buts its not TOO hard. Here there are three types of enemies:
Roda Frogs, Spores, and Vadons. Roda Frogs have about 160 HP, and can probably be killed by a single LV 4 Lightning
Bolt right when you arrive. Spores have about 200 HP. You MIGHT need to use hit-and-run tactics to beat them when you first
arrive, but after your first few levels a single LV 4 Lightning Bolt can easily beat one. Vadons are harder. They have
700-800 HP (not sure of exact amount) and hit HARD. You will definately need to use hit-and-run tactics on them until
above LV 20. Here in Bibalan you will need to level up to level 20-25. Don't worry, the levels go by really quickly. Then
you will probably be ready to risk level 2 of Bibalan; the entrance is a stairway leading down somewhere in the caves...
sorry that I can't give more detailed instructions. I'm not sure what level you should be before you risk the third level
of Bibalan, but you should probably have Thunderstorm or Soul Strike at LV 10 before trying.
If you chose Cold
Bolt then you want to go the the desert. To get there head two screens south of Prontera and you'll have reached the desert.
You should head west a bit, though, and find Morroc; after the first few screens west its a southern exit; it isn't
too hard to find because it has a wall around it. Save there. Now go kill enemies. Pickys are pretty weak, and I don't
think that Condors are TOO strong. Sorry for the lack of detailed information, but I've quite honestly never played
a Cold-using mage. After you get Frost Driver or Soul Strike to level 10 you should start trying enemies like Golems, Snakes,
scorpions (I think there's a scorpion enemy, but I'm not sure about the name), or maybe even in the Pyramids; the Pyramid
is in the faaaar west desert.
If you chose Fire Bolt then you're probably pretty well off where you are. Willows
should easily fall to an LV 4 Fire Bolt if you have decent INT, and both Rockers and Hornets are weak against Fire. Later,
you might want to find the areas with Yoyos and Smokies (sorry, I'll try and find out the exact location for the next
update), since I think they're weak against Fire (once more, I'll try to confirm this by the next update). Also, the Pyramids
might not be a bad idea once you get Fire Wall OR Soul Strike to LV 10, since undead (which the pyramid is FULL of)
are also weak against fire, but not as much as they are to light.
Mages should probably avoid areas like Culvert
(the sewers) or any other areas with lots of agressive enemies until they have Soul Strike; since the enemies attack
without you provoking them, you NEED to be able to cast quickly, and Soul Strike is the only spell that fits that description.
Not to mention that a lot of the agressive enemies happen to be undead.
ARCHER:
10-15 condors, pickies, savage babes, small thief bugs
15-20
rockers, hornets, culvert level 1,2(beware of bug mobs)
20-25
mandragoras, big thief bugs, spores, poporings, culvert 3
25-30
ambernites, wolfs, boas, pecos, poporings, wormtails, culvert 3, bibiland 1,2, payon 1
30-35
cocos, horns, stainers, payon 2
35-40 coal mines 1, yoyo forest,
elder willow forest, ant hell, payon 2
40-45 orc village, ant
hell, golem desert, payon 2, hodes (hit and run)
45-50+ hode desert,
payon 2,3, savage map, sandman map (fire arrows), eventually you will get job 40
Cliff Sniping Areas: (For Power Leveling)
20-30
mandragoras, yoyo forest, stainer map
30-40 HT savage rooms,
desert wolf map, golem desert, hode map, kobold map, argiope map
40+
mids 3, comodo, glast heim and clock tower snipe spots (If you can make it)
Cliff sniping will allow you to level a
lot quicker, but you have to spend a lot of money because you usually don't get your loot and you go through arrows quickly.
I would definitely recommend cliff sniping if you have a rich friend or another character with lots of zeny. If not,
stick with the basic level up areas and that way you actually make money and you also level up at a decent speed.
Also, cliff sniping can be dangerous so make sure to watch your back ;).
MERCHANT:
(I'll try to update this one still finding a better place to level)
ACOLYTE:
1-10 - Porings/Lunatics/Fabres/Willows 10-24 - 1 North of Morroc - Drops/Condors/Pickys/Super Pickys 24-26 - Heal
Bomb in Payon 1 against Zombies 26-53 - Heal Bomb in Glastheim Graveyard 53 + - Glastheim and anywhere with your party
